Circle of Life: A Yoga
Safari in Botswana

June 6 through 13, 2026

Join Sheila Ewers along with Special Guests Dennis and Kathy Lang for an unforgettable trip into the heart of Africa on the doorstep of Chobe National Park in Botswana.

This Circle of Life Yoga Retreat celebrates the interconnectedness of all living things, inspired by the natural cycles of birth, growth and transformation. Set in a serene safari location, the retreat offers a holistic blend of yoga, meditation, and nature to guide participants on a personal journey of renewal and balance.

Our journey will begin and end at Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, where you will meet your hosts and facilitators, stay in a lodge near the Falls, and visit the Victoria Falls Rainforest before being transferred via boat cruise and game drive to our private Glamping Lodge the following day.

Each day will include yoga, breathwork, meditation and activities to deepen our circle of connection, and throughout the week, we will experience game drives,  a cultural village tour, (including cultural workshops such as Basket Weaving Demonstrations, Music/Drumming, Bush Fauna, Survival and Medicine Talks, Cooking Classes, or Dance Workshops). a traditional Boma dinner and dancing, and much more.

Botswana Travel Details

Participants will need to book their own tranportation to and from Victoria Falls. The simplest way to do this if you are traveling from the US is to fly into Johannasburg, South Africa and take a domestic flight from there. Many flights are availalbe daily for a nominal fee, and the journey from Johannasburg to Victoria Falls takes less than 2 hours. As we grow closer to the date, we would like to coordinate our arrival to Victoria Falls Airport, so it will be best if we are all on the same flight. I will send recommended flight information 6 months prior to the retreat.

The location of this retreat is remote, and the accommodations are simple but elegant in glamping tents. We will be staying outside of the National Park, so there is little to no risk of dangerous predators on the property.

We highly recommend travel insurance to cover any unexpected event or need for evacuation. Our preferred supplier for this is Trawick International.
